What We Do

Homeownership Pre-Application

We will be opening our 2027 Homeownership Program application period from July 6 through July 31, 2026

During this application cycle, we will select two partner families who will work alongside Habitat as we build their homes in 2027.

To help prospective applicants learn more about the program, Habitat for Humanity of Kokomo will host three informational meetings where attendees can learn about:

  • The Habitat homeownership program
  • Partner family requirements
  • Income and eligibility guidelines
  • Sweat equity expectations
  • The application and selection process
  • What to expect throughout the homebuilding journey

Information Meeting Location
Security Federal Community Room
1600 E. Boulevard
Kokomo, IN 46902

Meeting Dates and Times

  • Tuesday, July 7 at 6:00 PM
  • Saturday, July 11 at 10:00 AM
  • Tuesday, July 14 at 6:00 PM

Anyone interested in becoming a Habitat partner family is strongly encouraged to attend one of these meetings. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, learn about the requirements, and gain a complete understanding of the homeownership process.

We look forward to meeting you and helping more families achieve the dream of homeownership.
